Thank thank Thank you for posting these interviews and setting up the time with our WW11 men of E Company and the men/actors who played them so eloquently and generously. I watched the series 10 years ago on HBO (sometimes the same episode back to back) because it was fascinating and brilliant what our men accomplished in that war. I was embarassed that i knew so little about that great effort(born'71) and what such young men of that generation were up against, charged with and took on. I own the dvd, watch it for a dose of Shifty (my fav), Lipton, "Wild Bill", Winters, Toy, Bull, Buck,Luz,Peconte and Leifvgot(sp?). The men of E Company are special and I am so blessed to know a little part of them through the Ambrose book, the HBO series and these great actors. These interviews are a brilliant extension that help us get deeper into a war that occurred around the world - that transcends the word Epic. Thank you Ross. May I friend you on FB? Melissa Biscoff

ReplyDeleteThanks for the interviews to all involved! It was hilarious listening to Jim and his friends and fellow cast members. As he mentioned, it sounds like his bootcamp was much more eventful than the one I went through!
